March is finally here! That means we’re just 16 days away from the start of the real season! The sun’s rising earlier, birds are waking my dogs up at like 6:30 a.m., I’ll have to start doing yardwork again soon, and so on. No, it’s not spring yet, but I’m very much ready for it to be here. When I was in school, spring was both great and bad because I love being outside and very quickly lose interest in things that I was supposed to be doing like studying for exams and stuff. I managed fine, but it was a struggle to read my notes or a textbook when I could be outside drinking beer or gambling on horses or playing golf or something. Spring is the best. Come on, spring.
