It’s the first game week press conference of the season! I won’t be there, but apparently in addition to just talking about this weekend’s game against North Carolina FC, John Hackworth is also going to be announcing some other big news At the presser this afternoon. What’s that? A surprise! It could be another player, a new sponsorship deal, or any number of other things. Either way, my interest is piqued.
Other stuff:
- Tim Howard, in addition to owning and being sporting director Memphis 901, has decided to come out of retirement and play between the sticks for his club this season. Here’s my surprised face: 😐
- Beautiful Game Network’s 2020 season predictions! I like the way these turned out, and so will you.
- Bad news if you still don’t have a ticket to City’s home opener next month: it’s sold out.
