Louisville City took the keys to Lynn Family Stadium from Messer/Harmon yesterday. The ceremony featured all the local government brass, ownership, and project management from the construction team. It was probably more of a press opportunity than anything, but any chance we can get to see the new stadium on TV is good.

The home opener is just over a month away and all the game day vendors will probably start moving in shortly. It’s exciting stuff!

Other bits:

Lots of teams adding some final touches to their rosters before the season starts this weekend. Charlotte added Boca Juniors product Guido Vadalá to their front line, Pittsburgh Riverhounds picked up a couple of midfielders we’ve never heard of, and NYRBII signed former UofL midfielder Cherif Dieye.

PRESEASON LEAGUE-MADE HYPE VIDEO INCOMING!

Have a good Wednesday!
