Well, no game or games to write about today. LigaMX thought they’d be cool and play games over the weekend, but then they realized that was a bad idea and have followed the rest of the planet in postponing their season. Argentina, you’re next!

This truly is a surreal time in America. I’m getting emails from my dentist, my credit card company, and a food delivery service about how they’re dealing with COVID-19. I’m pretty sure some of this stuff is just so these companies can have the appearance of looking like they’re doing something to help. Are they, though? Who knows.

Meanwhile, it looks like the USL’s 30 day suspension might be getting longer. The CDC said yesterday that it recommended not to hold gatherings of 50 people or more for the next 60 days. We’ll see what the club and league does in response, but I’m guessing they’ll act according to those recommendations.

I’m going to keep writing and hopefully everyone keeps reading. Barrel Proof will keep happening, as far as I know. Brad Estes said on Soccer City on Saturday that the guys are still training and taking care of themselves. That’s about all we can do.

In order to stay on our game, let’s enjoy the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals against New York Red Bulls II, aka Speedy Goes HAM:

Be careful, WASH YOUR HANDS, and VAMOS MORADOS.
