LouCity takes on UK in friendly on Saturday
We’re less than a week away from the start of the USL Championship season! Morados have one more friendly tomorrow at the Bell Soccer Complex on UK’s campus at 5 pm before getting into their would-be routine for the season.
UK has had a pretty good college program for a while now, making the College Cup playoffs the last several years in a row. They don’t necessarily feature a ton of talent this season, but they do tend to work really well together in the collective.
For City, it’s a chance to work out some final tweaks before the season starts. The game won’t be broadcast, but tickets are free, so if you’re up for braving the weather, get out to Lexington and catch City one more time before they head off on a long road trip to start the season!
