Meeting Topics

We met with Whirling Tiger. That is a go.
We talked about 4 packs before the game.
Show the coin at an ATG place for a $1 donation to Angel’s Share.
We can use the back room for watch parties and the like if we give them notice.
We are targeting the USL Summer Showcase for an event there.

Herman reached out to Scott with Warrior’s Battallion.
Maybe we could do something to honor Tony, the founder, who passed
recently.

Herman wants to target some games for watch parties.

He is also looking at community service events. The team’s new charitable foundation is interested in partnering with us as well.

We need to set up a meeting with J. Harper and J Arkenberg about Groove Machine, Capoing, and recruitment.

We are looking at a Coopers’ Night at the Metro games and at a W League team game.

The team still wants us to get involved with Racing as well, but we are still devoting resources to building back and stabilizing our position after the last two years.

As it stands, the board has voted no to becoming an official SG for Racing.

Treasury Report (Nick):

It is time to start planning for midterms. (Benton):

There will be 3 board positions up for election: Benton, David, and Jess.
Benton will run it.

Resources needed from FO (Benton):

We won’t be without a table again.

Planning for our event/fundraiser during the Summer Showcase (David):

We want to do a fundraiser of some sort during the Summer Showcase.
We should start working on donations and event planning now.

Documentation

David is working through a document of everything that we do throughout the
year.

Scarf contest

How does it work? How do we vote on it?

Tifo schedule/painting (David):

David and Zach want to target the Phoenix game for a tifo.
Memphis seems like another one that works well.
Repainting old Tifos will save time and resources.

April Player of the month:

Matt will put the stave together for (Player
Redacted)

Angel’s Share

Veteran-related charity for May – Warriors’ Battalion (Jess)
If Herman can get in touch with them, we will go with Warrior’s Battalion.
See about getting a PDP shirt and a Wes Charpie shirt signed for a charity raffle.
Totsch might have one of his Tucked In Locked In shirts.

Parking Issues

There may be a communication or training issue with the club regarding paved
ADA parking. The website has it listed as being in the purple lot. Someone on
the phone said no. We should bring this up with the club.

2022 Pins:

We will move forward with the standard plan and look at some of
David’s more creative plans for Year Ten.

Proposal for getting the whole stadium involved in chants (Matt):

Random proclamations from the FO and words on the screen have not worked,
and they will not work. They need to secure buy-in before anything will
succeed.

A new chant handed down from the FO similarly will not work. We need to
use something people at least somewhat know.

It should be initiated by our capos. When things just randomly go on the
scoreboard while we are doing another chant, it rarely even gets noticed.

As for chant selection, I suggest “City” and “We are Louisville City” because
they are clear and easy to pick up. David brought up “LC-FC” as an
alternative.

We don’t have enough capos to go to every section, or even every other section.

We could ask the team to reach out, on our behalf, to a handful of STH’s in
each section to see if they will help to spread these two cheers stadiumwide.
We can either teach them or (preferably) record a short video with what we are
doing.

When we start the chant, they would just join in and encourage others in the
section to do so.
