WATCH:

With us! Join us for the actual March to the Match from the Troll Pub on Washington Street around 7 pm, or catch up with us if you prefer to hang in the parking lot and tailgate, or from Against the Grain! It’s loud, somewhat boozy, and it’s deffo lots of fun! But if you can’t make it because you’ve spent the last ten or so hours in a vehicle with your family and your wife/husband would threaten divorce if you tried to jet to a soccer match after such an ordeal, then you can watch it here, live in HD, on the YouTubes:

WHO, AGAIN?

The Batteries! Charleston’s always been a worthy opponent, but one that Louisville’s had some success against. Look for a battle of the midfields and who gets the best of the matchup between City’s attack and Charleston’s usually solid defense. The Battery like to get out on counter-attacks, but possession and build-up play is usually not their forté. It should be a fun match!

STATISTICAL COMPARISONS OF DUBIOUS VALIDITY:

These teams are pretty evenly matched, minus the goal difference thing. IDK, this isn’t fun every time.

HYPERBARIC CHAMBER-LOCK PREDICTIONS:

2-1 Louisville City. I’d like a clean sheet but Charleston’s a smart team and, if there’s one hole in the Louisville City team, it’s that high press and getting back to beat a counter. Maybe I’m wrong!

COME ON, CITY!
