Coopers September 2025 Meeting Notes

Delivery date? Jess has emailed but not received a response yet. Postponed closure date of store, usually 4-6 weeks. Have had several inquiries about delivery.

For October cancer awareness kits Jess has Gilda’s Club logo in the email inbox. Braeden has a purple/pink rose pattern design almost ready to go. We need to combine the two logos and get placed on the kit. Originally talked about either both on front or Gilda on the front and Alzheimer’s on the sleeve. Should put a disclaimer with the order that 4-6 from shop/sale close. Shoot for a 3-week or so sales window. Are we ordering two extra if we go through with the kits? Yes.

Need Braeden to double check that we’ll be able to get them in time.

Possible to do an away kit and maybe home kit w/ team signatures to put up for a fundraising auction as a backup? Should be doable. Group agrees to go with this option. This is going to be more doable with the time available. Nicole is going to talk to her dad about getting tees printed. Try to get tees for the Alzheimers walk. If we have a design need to get it together and get it to Nicole ASAP.

Chris and Felice updated ledger, up to current with Stock Yards. Current is $1173.76

Went in to do 990 with taxes, but password is not working. Will have to do a reset and work out access. Focused on taxes, then repaying Jessica and Matt. Felice has the data files now, will need to get with Jessica for account numbers for again trying to resolve old account that is in Tom Farmer’s name (~$430). Felice needs to get name added to bank accounts, Jess said we can call Kat Schweizer about it.

Matt: Financials adjacent – wants to mark memberships down to $15 for rest of the year.

Matt motions, Felice seconds, Bryan and Braeden agree. Passes.

Jess wants an advertisement graphic. Jess will generate a team link, Nicole and Jessica will try to get Scouse involved and Felice is working on working on getting it on the big screen at next home games. Will need a QR code (Bryan will get it toether if Jess can get the link). Braeden can do the social graphic.

For Gilda’s club, need to get info to work out if we can share around a donation link as well.

Jess will get in touch with KRM soon about the holiday drive.

Membership is up to 138 right now. Barbara Ogle was last to join, has not yet picked up, but we haven’t had a home game yet

Braeden is volunteering with the Triumph (https://louisvilletriumph.com), looking into ways to do a collab with the Coopers, whether that’s a co=branded can koozie or another promotional item. Wants to take a step towards supporting all local soccer with this other team. Their team uses orange, mockup in Board chat. Tickets ~$8, maybe a combo like ticket + a koozie for $15. Triumph would be producing koozies, schedule should be out during September so we can start looking at dates after that. Approx 6 home games between Nov and March. They play at Mockingbird Valley. Once schedule is up, we should add to Louisville Soccer Calendar
