Meeting Minutes
Coopers Business:
Jessica has stepped down as President. Chris Wright is President through end of year.
Website changes
HostGator is increasing costs again. Bryan has found various better deals.
Hostinger is $71.76 for 2 years.
Matt moves to make the change. Nicole seconds. All vote in favor.
We will review and clean up legacy items from the website.
Charity Auction.
We made $1000 after paying for the auction items, and it will be split between the two charities – Gilda’s Club and Alzheimer’s Association.
Felice moves to repay the cost of auction items to Nicole. Derek seconds. All vote in favor.
The board discussed pulling back and focusing more on fewer charities in 2026 to allow more focus on the ones we do support.
Holiday Party/End of Year
Holiday party is set for 1/10/2026. Nicole will talk to the owner, Drew, to finalize details. It will be in the Red Room at Flanagan’s.
We will reach out to other SG’s.
Alan Spade will spread it among the Racing community.
It will be a Purple Family party as opposed to just the Coopers.
Financials
Felice got in touch with Tom Farmer and was able to close the First Financial bank account. It was actually in Glenn and Doug’s names.
The bank account was closed with $363.
Our bank balance stands at $1797
Felice moves to pay Jess back $589. Matt seconds. All vote in favor.
Matt will wait for now because he’s awesome.
We are having issues with the tax payment login. We will need to reach out to the government agency and get the password reset and put in the name of the Coopers.
Ideas for 2026 membership
$25: Membership, access, and a scarf.
$30: Basic membership + coin.
$80: Basic membership + coin + Coopers kit.
We agreed in principle to a design.
Upcoming meeting scheduling
The board meeting for January will be at the Holiday Party.
Elections
Voting the first week of December.
We will put out a call for nominations in the next few days with a newsletter. Cut off for nominations is 11/30.
St. Baldrick’s 2026
Dwayne is on board for St. Baldrick’s this year.
Sponsorships
We need to put together a list of sponsors and get agreements signed for 2026. Bryan to review the Sponsorship documents and make any necessary changes such as year updates
