Review of chant lyrics. We spent time reviewing the chants and planning to update them on the website.
We are looking to dial back the drums on some chants.
We will record 3 or 4 short videos to teach chants.
Shelby is Gameday Ops and our contact at the stadium.
Paint is in the storage closet. Cans are badly rusted.
As Braeden is absent and the timeline is not yet pressing, we will hold off on discussing Coopers Kits.
Financials:
A cash membership was deducted from what Jessica is owed.
Matt: $910. Jessica: $739.
2024 Q4 taxes are not paid yet.
Angel’s Share:
Save tabs and caps.
Crusade for Children is in June, so we should raise money in May.
St. Baldrick’s is a no-go. There is basically no one to cut their hair this year.
Memberships:
We have 58 2025 memberships.
There are 35 scarves and coins in the tote in the closet.
Easter Parade.
We have been invited to the Easter Parade on Frankfort Ave on 4/19 at 11 AM.
Pick a theme. Limited to 50 entries.
We can float the idea to the other groups and see if they are interested.
We discussed wristbands for the marchers with Brandon. He seemed receptive and will discuss it with the new head of security. We will figure it out.
Matt reached out to Lexington’s gameday ops person to request drums and a banner or two at the game. No response yet.
We need to be sure that we, as board members, need to be mindful of our image at all times.
Derek will be doing the newsletter. We can include a chant section in it. He will put in a note about being nice to the away fans. We also need to mention the clear bag policy.
We need to make sure that any new members not on the MailChimp list are captured and added.
We will meet at Cluckers in Jeffersonville next month.
Matt will get Jess in contact with Tom Farmer.
Chris and Jeremy will work out details on wire shelves for Coopers Storage.
