There was a lot happening in May to support Warrior Battalion. Raffles were held for the “Butchertown Bundle”, a signed 2016 LouCity ball, and the web store was launched. Between these three initiatives, $235.85 was raised for the fight against post-traumatic stress and supporting U.S. military service members and their families through healing programs to end veteran suicide. A big thank you to all who took part in supporting Warrior Battalion and a thank you to the donors who helped with the “Butchertown Bundle”; Pregame Coffee, Ten20 Brewery, and of course our friends over at Soccer Holdings. The Coopers Angel’s Share program has raised $3,866.85 for various charitable causes in 2021!

Now for the winners of the raffles! The “Butchertown Bundle” was won by Bryan Fantoni and the 2016 signed LouCity ball was won by Drew Love! Congratulations to you both! I’ll be sending you emails shortly to coordinate getting you your winnings. Thanks again for your participation.

June is Pride Month so you know what that means… PRIDERAISER! The lovely LouCity Ladies have begun a Prideraiser campaign that is collecting pledges for each goal scored by both Louisville City and Racing Louisville. The campaign is supporting the Louisville Youth Group in their mission to empower youth with the tools to take ownership of their own lives. They create space for youth to heal and develop into the LGBTQIA+ leaders of tomorrow. Please do not hesitate to put in a pledge! While there is the potential for many goals this month, you do have the ability to edit your pledge level at any time so don’t let the fear of over-committing be a barrier! As of this writing, we are already over $151 per goal, which is AMAZING! But I think we can do even better ;)! Any proceeds collected via the Coopers web store will also go towards this so why don’t you browse through the shop and see if there is anything you like :).

If you have any questions about this or Angel’s Share in general, reach out to me, Benton, on the Twitter. That’s all I’ve got for you now, but stay tuned as we have plenty of things in the works! Vamos Morados/Lavanda!

Update – 06/22/2021

To complement the ongoing Prideraiser campaign, TWO auctions have gone line to help raise additional funds for the Louisville Youth Group. First, is a special LouCity Maker’s Mark bottle that was selected and signed by John Hackworth and Brad Estes. Only 90 were made publically available in late 2020. If you missed out on that sale, here is your chance! For the second item, Niall McCabe has graciously agreed to sign and donate his 2021 Pride kit! Talk about one of a kind! To special items up for grabs so don’t miss out! The auctions end 07/08/2021. Also, if you are not yet participating in the Prideraiser (now at >$186/goal), fix that now!
